PillCam™ SB 3 Capsule Endoscopy System

The PillCam™ SB 3 capsule endoscopy system is an ingestible camera-in-a-capsule that enables direct, noninvasive visualisation of the small bowel to help detect and monitor conditions such as obscure GI bleeding, iron-deficiency anemia and Crohn's disease. The patient simply swallows the capsule, which transmits images to a wearable recorder as it travels through the GI tract.
